About 2 months ago the stabilisers came off my 5 year old lads bike and a couple of weeks ago I took him to a BMX track on his 16" bike and he took to it like a duck to water. Over the past month or so I have been secretly building up this early 80's MCS mini magnum, finally got it completed and he is made up with it! :) We are going to take it for a spin hopefully this weekend to a track so I will probably be cringing when he bails out or puts it down on the concrete :'(
Parts include: Araya 1 3/8" rims on SR hubs with original yellow label comp 3's, Sugino Maxy 152mm crankset with KKT pedals, Redline mini bars with A'me mini grips, Dia-Compe 890 brakeset with Tech3 lever, Elina UL seat/post combo with SR clamp.
The main frame decal is more new school I know but you try finding old school MCS decals!!!!

8) Cool , I have a thing for Mini builds and that one looks great, nice colour combo,
Did you consider running sew ups as that would be a good option for a 5 yr old - It would reduce the hight slightly and may make it slightly easier to handle ?
Either way nice build for sure
Bravo !
