Title: looseball bb question

having probs with my looseball bb can anyone give me a description of how to install it , do the bearing races fit into the bb shell ball side in or ball side out ?

the open side of the balls run on the cones, meaning the cages should be towards the cups on both sides.

It should be just as it is in Biagio's picture.  Can you post a picture of how it looks on your frame?  Silly question, but are the cups pressed all the way into the frame?

thats the wrong way round according to the redline instructions and all my senses  :LolLolLolLol:

ive installed them properly i knew i had anyway gonna have to skim the nut down i reckon

they are usually standard ciaron. make a pic. you shouldn't have to touch a thing.

OK MY CAMERA IS CRAP CLOSE UP BUT HERE GOES

THE LOCKNuT IS STOPPING THE CRANKS FROM BUTTING UP CORRECTLY ive followed the installation instructions and the BB is spinning beautifully the cups are in correctly there is no play in the bb if i tighten anymore the cranks become stiff to turn i havent installed loosebal flights before but ive done loads of one piece and it seems correct to me , if i ues the original drive side cone it fits perfectly but because the mongoose bb has a raised nut instead of being slotted and therfore flat those extra couple of mm are stopping the crank from butting correctly onto the spline  :'(

yep.exactly the same as a one piece install.
