Awesome, manual going backwards, too much to comment on really but fan-fookin-tastic.
-
yep.. unreal
-
that is such a cool vid...
remember though....billStup also has a front brake and a freecoaster.... ;)
-
He's a good lad, Rob Ridge. Had the pleasure of spending a bit of time with him in the past. Leader of the Front Brake Revolution.... :daumenhoch:
He can be a bad tempered fooker though - loves chucking his bike. He's also the only rider I know who uses the buttons on tech77s..... I wonder if he still does?

i am a massive fan of front brake stuff
that was foooookin mad !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
-
front brake stuff is proper riding in my eye. well hard the new oldschool freestyle.
mid school brought this on so much with mini ramps and proper brakes. :4_17_5: cool vid.

rob ridge rules
i bought a video off him from a ride "small ad" in 1997. little machines, it was called. very home movie-ish but basically he did every trick known to man at the time. triple decades!!
i have run front brakes and a freecoaster for almost ten years now.
the trick is to find a good one ;)
the nankai one i use now is really good. i used a KHE alloy freehub for a few years in the late nineties but it was a bit fragile

Yeah, I got a LHD nankai for christmas, along with a profile shell (both from flatlandfuel) (Thanks wifey xxx)
Was loving my ody freecoaster, but it was rhd and i didn't want to wreck it, so i'm putting it away for now.
Just finished lacing it this afternoon, looking forward to getting out on it soon. If the rain actually stops... :(
Brian.
And yeah, Rob ridge is cool as **** in that vid.
-
how much is the lhd version as i fancy one lol
altho cant get used to riding one as bills stupps goes wrong with me lol
-
LOL, go for it! We're only here once... ;)
There's not even that much slack in the nankai which is another plus...
(Think it was about $115 for the hub and another $90 for the profile shell, so it worked out pretty good, going with the recent £/$.)
Brian.

wow good to see Rob still riding, rode with him (well mostly watched in awe) a couple of times back in the 90's when motion park bristol was known as skate and ride. he definately has some excellent bike handling skills and some of the most technical tricks i've ever seen. also he used to be known as MICHAEL KNIGHT locally :LolLolLolLol:
cool vid and nice find Andy :daumenhoch:
-
HA HA!!!! Michael Knight! I forget about that........ ;D
skate and Ride - what a cool place, so much better than Motion is now. I met the original owners Dean and somebody else (?) when they were still planning it, they had all these crazy ideas, licensed restaurant, bar, nightclub..... we thought they were off their heads. Lo and behold, a few months later and they've done everything they said they would, and with some good style too. That mexican restaurant was the bollocks :daumenhoch:
-
cool stuff, i like seeing fresh moves :daumenhoch:
-
Jeremy Clarkson is another Ridge nickname. You have Northern John to thank for that one. Robs amazin.
