Title: putting on new decals (advice)

???    will your new decals stick after you've just polished your frame with autosol ?  

if not what is the best thing to do   please

Clean it over with vinegar at a guess, strips and cleans it all at once.

rub it down with a cauliflower first , then apply decals  :daumenhoch:

seriously . clean the frame with white spirit or meths

leave it to dry and away you go

use a tiny bit of washing up liquid in water and spray the frame , the stickers will slide on and when they dry they will be spot on

i actually found it easier without spraying the frame.

The water droplets seemed to stop the sticker adhering.

I also found I spent too much time moving it around because i could, rather than getting it in the right place to start with.

a tiny bit of detergent eliminates the droplets, i also like to warm the frame in front of the fire first, i dont know why, i just do :D

o ye dont forget to put the decals on the right way up  .i hope u never mr.  ;D i use cucumber  or  cheese or pickle to clean my frame o no thats a ploughmans lunch  :)  .
