ok, a bit of cleaning and a nice sticker on the chainstay and bingo, nice bike with scratches and chips and scuffs.etc..
i like it, but a restore would be tip top.

I would not restore it to new, but I would change that brake cable & give it a real good strip down & clean, but don't touch that paintwork it looks fine as it is.

john, some bikes just need to be left as they are, and this is one of them. just change a few of the badly damaged bits with the same or similar in used condition :daumenhoch:

Man, if that had a set of red tuffs and some yellow mx1000's on it, it'd be identical to my first bmx which my folks got me for christmas 1982.
On that note, i'd leave it as is, apart from the cable, it's all in fine nick. i really, really, like it. glad i kept mine!

Just the wheels and id leave it at that dude, cool bike, dont make it a bike to spend the rest of it s days hanging on a wall, it needs to be ridden!! :daumenhoch:

nother vote for the leave it camp!!!! hope the ripper frame I am getting given tonight looks as sweet, can't see it, apparantley the frame spent 12 months in the garden :(
