Title: How do you date a dia compe calliper?

Evening all.
Can someone help tell me the date from the circle stamp on a dia compe 990 calliper?

Not sure about those. Some BMX calipers had a circle with a year or side by side with month/year. Sure someone would know! :-\

I'd go with the old faithful, Italian food, bit of wine and fingers crossed for at least a damp hand at the end of the evening

Fingers crossed is never a technique to be used if trying to get a damp hand, straight fingers and the odd rub of the budgies tongue from time to time, that should work.
