Title: 1979 skyway Tuff generation rear cassette issues
Post by: stockcar3 on August 28, 2016, 07:08 PM
ok ,
I have a set of  scarce 1979 red Daisy flange skyway tuff 2's.
The wheel set is in great condition and the red colour is vibrant . they came with the axles in a pot , which was ideal as i wanted to clean the wheels and media blast them to get them minty mint .

once i cleaned all the axles things got confusing . im missing a dust cap and a washer on the front axle but the cones were perfect and i ordered new bearings (3/16 and 1/4 only because there were some smaller bearings in the pot and ive learnt that these carried 13 bearings as oppossed to the normal 9 ! )

i seem to be missing parts on the rear axle though . here is what i have .
My question is ....
does anyone have a orphan rear wheel similar , maybe a spare rear axle or even the freewheel and circlip ....

any help on this matter is much appreciated

This is what it should look like
