Title: Removing decal residue

Anyone got any bright ideas to get decal residue off chrome?  nail polish remover?

WD40 worked ok for me.

I used white spirit the other day, worked for me.

Meths,  The purple stuff  :daumenhoch:  White spirit can leave a residue and should be wiped off after anyway.

We use it all the time at work  :daumenhoch:

I normally use isopropyl alcohol

I did read something about people using peanut butter to do it - at first I thought it was a pisstake but there are quite a few people posting about it, e.g.

mate there are loads of links that suggest otherwise - google 'peanut butter sticker residue' and you'll see what I mean
not sure if it matters whether you go smooth or chunky tbh :teef:
