I reckon you are right Joff :daumenhoch:

Remember my local bike shop selling these as completes but they were made up of whatever parts.
Come to think of it, sure they used to do them all in Landar parts to make a cheap freestyle bike.

Halfords sold them as frame and fork only. You got the seat shim and some decals, as you had to put your own on.
£25 for the kit back in 1985 :daumenhoch:

F&F etc £25 wowwww yeah ones have said they were built up just thought id ask as i wasnt sure as the old memory aint like what it was BITD :D ones were saying that the aero reflex F&F was dearer than skyway,gt,goose bitd so you would think they are a better F&F than them 3 i mentioned but they had said more.

The Aero Reflex frameset was indeed more expensive than the Firebird Freestyler or the Rebel IIRC.
They goofed up and didn't get them here until the scene was on it's last legs late 85 and as they were so expensive loads of them weren't sold and survived as NOS, they were being sold for as little as £30 at one stage a few years back.
When they arrived in the UK there was no forks and they had to be made here so the forks are brazed and the frames are tig welded AFAIK.
Never had one but a lot of people say to ride it you're better cutting off the rear standers to avoid needing skin grafts on the back of your heels.

from Freestlye BMX test ... probably just the spec of the bike they built to test ... not a factory spec :daumenhoch:

They only came as a frame & forks set. The test above was just put together for test the F&F.
Check out the aero reflex group on Facebook there's a lot of information on there.
