I've always associated Zeds with freestyle.. So what's the story with 24's.. Are they a later thing? Did they make many? I did ask the question on a FB page. But real knowledge is on here.. So don't let us down Rad😜

They made the 20" rims before freestyle really took off, maybe late 70s? (at least they were around in 1980)
So while popular with freestyle riders for a bit later on, think they were originally designed to be a tough spoked wheel for racing
What I didn't know until I tried to find the actual first run of production is that they did them in 26" as well as 24" - never knew they did them that big!

certainly made for racing originally , some of the earlier adds were aimed at racers and wel before freestyle was around

Yes remember them I remember you had them on a bike being split up can't remember the bike and you had them up at £250 but you decided to keep them its a few year back that but I remember as I was going to buy them did they have gold hubs or gold spoke tips can't remember , you never see them

got some nos graphite zeds meself,only paid a ton for them off e-bayback in 2006.auction
went to the end and only i bid.
