Title: Freestyle frame question.
Post by: oldskoolg60 on December 31, 2014, 06:18 PM
I know that the haro freestyler frames and ammaco ones are quite rarre, but what other frame has the twin top tube that isnt as rare and not as expensive. Im not reallky fussed about authenticity , I just like the twin top rail design and I could never afford one back in the day , Ive seen some freestyle frames that arent twin top tube ones for about £50. I just fancy building one up to ride everyday to work and back. Many thanks .  :)

You will be lucky to get any Frame fork set for £50. I have not seen a twin top tube set for for much less than £200 in the last year or so. An aero Reflex might be a good start for about £150 ish?  Not twin tube but a great frame set

Ahhhh ok. I just assumed there may be replica frames knocking about that were cheap.  My heart is set upon a twin top tube, back in the day I longed for a haro.  I just want the look, not bothered about the authenticity.  Going to throw a set of z rims on there and get some bits anodised to suit. Thanks for the response,  the search continues

There is a lovely Falcon Prostyler package in the sales section now, all powdered and stickered up, with bars etc for £210, absolute bargain mate, and really cool.  :daumenhoch:

Ive always wanted z rims on a bike you see and Ive always longed for a freestyle frame so Ive got the rims so now need a frame. cheap wheels wont do it for me unfortunately, its all about what the bike is rolling on!  :4_17_5:

Maybe get a later Haro Zippo frame and sticker it up as Master as a few have done on here....They look pretty cool and won't break the bank. Other than that there are Peugeot's with twin tt, Wilson Freestyler, and whole loads of generic stuff that also have twin tt's. My first bmx bitd was a heavy Taiwanese effort called a Dragon freestyler which also had twin tt but never seen another to this day! Ebay probably your best bet or as Dan said earlier the Falcon Pro for sale is quite tasty and could be built into a very nice bike  :daumenhoch:
