Title: GT Pro Performer on Ebay...
Post by: eddie kidd on October 20, 2014, 11:50 PM
Is this genuine...

I'm after an 84 frame...

Is the 'Pre-Stamp' worth much more than a normal 84 frame...

Any help appreciated...

looks genuine enough
its march 84
pre stamp is before they started stamping gt into the end of the top tube
its still serial stamped
worth a lot more than a stamped one? not a lot more but it is rarer
personally i like the stamped 84's more

Yes it's real.
Yes they fetch more cash.
Especially in the US.
Mainly because anything "made in the USA" does over there.
They love their US made shit.
The serial number is right too.
Nick has one on here at the mo.
There's a lengthy thread about them on the museum.
I'd post a link but I'm in bed!

It sold for £590.00

Cheap enough, as it had some nice parts on it...

I reakon the parts are worth more than £590.00...

Which means, if you split and sell - the Frame & Forks were free !!!
