Title: Would You Buy @ MK...
Post by: Retrodan72 on June 23, 2014, 06:29 PM
...a Radbmx MK14 laminate and lanyard?

I've chatted with a few of the Mods and I had the idea of getting something rather than a tee or a mug to have as souvenir.

I was thinking of a laminate and lanyard with RAD on the strap/pendant and a few laminates on with an itinerary and some other details on, not thought that far yet.

I used to get one of these at every festival I went to.

They're cheaper than a tee to make, but obviously you wouldn't get as much use as you would from a tee or mug.

I'm guessing to do this, we would have to knock them out for £5 or £6.

Would anyone want one if these if they were on sale?  ???

Sounds good Dan. might be wishful thinking but what if it came with a little Rad zine like bitd. a home photocopy job with a couple of wity cartoons, stories from previous Mk's, interviews of people like superbike Dan, Tim March, Katie Vincent etc as well as a little map, itinerary etc. If the right people contributed it would just be a case of compiling it and "borrowing" a works photocopier for an hour  :)

I know I can lay my hands on one for a while  ;)

I'd prefer a t-shirt. The lanyard would get chucked in the drawer but the tee would get used again. I'd probably still buy the lanyard as well.

Can you put a map of the Willen Lake route on the back so I can get back from the lake ride without getting lost? :-[

I'd buy 1 :surprise:

Sorry Gaz, there wasn't enough interest to warrant spending the cash on getting these done, so I fooked it off.  :'(

Hope you all fall off your bikes and rip your t-shirts and smash your mugs going back to the Hotel.  :LolLolLolLol:
