GT did a facelift on the race bikes and introduced the Peformer in 84 but IIRC early some of the early GT Pros and GT Performers came with the old style fork which is what that is on both bikes as said above.
-
OK, so they are 'Pre' 84 GT Pro Forks... :daumenhoch:
Good Man Yerself...
Now, what would you pay for a set ??? (Not NOS - getting painted...)
-
about the forks below farmboy says "Early ('80-'81) GT forks" -> http://bmxmuseum.com/reference/3457
and pair that looksky like those went for $175 about 2 months ago ...woah!
-
ok they are PRO forks. EDDIE FIOLA rode with pro forks as oppose to the standard performer forks, he also
used PRO bars instead of the performer ones.
the bike above is a recreation of fiolas winterland bike.
I've just built the all yellow version of the same bike :daumenhoch:

Confirmed then... :daumenhoch:
"help" How do i obtain a parts list for said bike ???
-
Right or wrong for the rep of that fiolas bike ? I don't know, but I know the forks on that bike ain't GT. I felt them and had a very good look and they ain't GT. Ultra thin and got. Weird curve, I asked Finny and he Said he didn't know, he brought the bike complete. So are they the right forks for that fiola rep bike ?
And btw Finny is such a lovely chap
-
They look like ELF forks to me...
-
Anyone got a pic of the actual winter bike being ridden
-
they look like GHP mini forks to me :-\

Deff not GT Performer forks...???
Are they not 'Early' Pro Forks, as previously mentioned ... ???
-
Why not fire Eddie a PM? He is on the Museum and FB :daumenhoch:
The first pic are NOT Pro fork. Look at the leading edge (top) off the fork leg of the dropout. It curves out and not straight down. The chrome fork on the Pro are indeed Pro fork :daumenhoch:

& the standing platform joins the centre of the TT, the later ones it joined the top :daumenhoch:
I always thought they were GT Race Pro forks, but clearly not :-\
