Title: stripping ;-)

morning fellas wanna strip some painted tech 3's, anyone know if the stripper Will wreck the plastic washers between the lever & body ???

I would have thought it would be fine with a regular paint stripper but i have put stripper in some plastic tubs in the past and it ate right through em  :shocked:

Depends on the plastic i guess but most paint stripper tins have plastic safety caps  ;)

that's what i thought clint,never got round to trying though, hopefully manage it today  :daumenhoch:

You could try a really small dab on the washer and see how it goes. If it does mark it you should be able to spin the washer round, hiding the mark  :daumenhoch:

Hi Richard - Would you mind letting me know what make of stripper you used please? I've got to do the same and thought I'd use same product as you did if it worked well and didn't damage the plastic washer. Many thanks  :daumenhoch:
