i know nothing about them Dan, other than they look well nice! :daumenhoch:
-
i have been using these on many bikes over the years, but seems odd that i have never seen another set.
they had the graphite deal across the rim when i got them imported.
-
do they flex much Dan, like the 36 hole ones or are these actually stiff?
-
they are tonnes better thats why i was able to use them.
-
says here that they only did them in white ???

Sounds like a challenge for skyway rim maker.. 48s.

i've got some 36 graphites with the stamping, only seen one other pair before.

Only one set known to exist. Must be worth at least 5k to the right person. :D
-
all seems odd,had them so long never much bothered to look them up,but as im selling them wanted to know about why
i hadnt heard about them .
-
come on you lot, between you all i feel confident someones knows or knows someone..

-
maybe they have been dyed ???
-
they would need to be good as the lettering is white..they are og
-
well over the last few days i have put up threads on all the big sites even spoke with maurice meyer
not a bloody sausage .
how can this be that no one knows nothing about them.
-
Hi Dan remember seeing an advert in bmx plus with Fred blood riding a white set on a blue quad .think it was called blood,sweat+z48's.will see if i can find it to see if it says anything about the colours they made.
-
ACS likely let a few black ones slip through in a limited run. Like I told you on vintage, yours is likely the only set I've seen in 10 years since I got back into it. Possibly the only surviving set? Value will be tough to estimate.
Not sure if ACS keeps old production records, but maybe contact them?
-
thanks mate,i have exhausted every route, more curious than anything so tried all the old sites
as across them all i was sure someone had a set.
-
looked at that advert Dan but it doesn't say anything about colour :(
