Just acquired 6 sheets of 8ft x 4ft marine plywood. Painted blue.

Need some plans and info on the best way of building a ramp.
We don't know whether to go for a decent quarter or a smaller half pipe.
Help needed please.

I just sent Ride mag a pound and got a set of their ramp plans, I didn`t do it to their dimentions but it gives you an idea of how to do it :daumenhoch:

The only problem with a quarter is that you need a good bit of space as a run up :(

yes this is very true a thing worth thinking about :daumenhoch:

Hopefully got a barn to store it so run up is not a problem.
Just want to make a ramp that we can use.
So perhaps a wide quarter would be good. Run up is good for exercise! :LolLolLolLol:

jim go for the 1/4 with vert then i would come and help you build it would love to ride it aswell :daumenhoch:

Jim. I used to do this professionally.... give me a shout if you want any help/advice. I would steer clear of any published plans if i were you. Billstup is right, it gives you an idea but most often the dimensions are all screwed up ;)
-
Ade thanks for the plans by the way! :daumenhoch:
Rob if you can sort out a smaller version of a charlton half pipe from 6 bits of 8'x4', then we will be forever in your debt. We are sourcing some more wood for backing and platforms.
May well be getting some help and advice from you. :4_17_5:

No worries. In the meantime, grab any and all wood you can - you can never have enough wood ;)
