What brake lever caliper, pad combo works, as in actually locks the back wheel with a normal amount of finger pressure on an o/s race bike.
I have a feeling that this may have been discussed before and I'm searching the wrong place to find the answer :idiot2:

If your 9-10 stone then an old school brake should work.........as well as the did in the 80's :-\
But when I rode O/S back in 07 the only brake that worked for me was a Pitbull ;)

I use a Dia-Compe Big Dog caliper on my Auburn and it works really well..

Totally O/S legal, single centre bolt mounted caliper. Stop you on a 5p :4_17_5:

thats coz your one of them lucky cunts who managed to find one :LolLolLolLol: was lookin for one of these for about 3 years when i was building, could i fook catch one.
ACS Boas are very very good Anth :daumenhoch: but a decently set up o/s caliper with ss or linear cable should do the job too, trial n error with pads, depends on your rims

As above - a linear cable is a must, as are sticky brake blocks. I've seen a few people using centrepull callipers of various types and eras. I use a cheap Tektro calliper on the front of my commuting BMX :daumenhoch:
