heres my original idea.....
http://www.raleighburner.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php't=32555
but i was not happy with the geometry of the standard mk2 burner
a TAP would be ideal but that could be an expensive fook up....
so i decided to use a 07 anni that i won on the bay
(also came with a nice clean pair of black skyways no fleccy hole )
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/raleigh-tuff-burner-/111006018182?
another change was i wanted to keep the frame as a survivor
my inspiration......

my frame after i stripped it down and added some fake rust and stickers
going to get the stander welded up monday will add some more fake rust
to hide the bare metal.....

my fake rust....

decided to flush in the stander to the top tube as si-et mentioned in the other thread.....

Fair play! Nice bit of diy on that! :daumenhoch:

Ace! :4_17_5:
Cant beat a bit of home brew. Needs some meteorlite style fork standers brazing on i think to give it a real freestyler look :daumenhoch:

started adding a few bits ....the plan is anything painted will be rusty.....
and everything else will be minty....

Loving this :daumenhoch:
-
that's nice.
some of the rust looks a bit shiny,
maybe if it was sprayed with some matt lacquer?
-
lovin this fella, really mad idea & the distressed / survivor look you're going for is interesting too...
look forward to seeing how it turns out
-
