Title: Missus is out so Tyres in the diswasher
Post by: N13L VV on January 18, 2013, 11:15 PM
Well the missus was working tonight and it was too cold in the garage so ive taken over the kitchen . I was making a right mess trying to scrub my tyres in the sink and getting splats everywhere so ive bunged them in the diswasher and am currently nervously awaiting them to finish .   Someone please say they do this and it works out fine as im fearing i may have just fooked a nice pair of blue snakebellys.   Ill add pics if they work out ok . if they dont ill be headbutting a wall somewhere .

you can use them to poach salmon too (don't put the finish tabs in for that though)

Ok so at last the diswasher is done , never realised how long they went on for .   Nyhow its done the trick and they are considerably cleaner than they went in.  so overall it was a successful mission and i will get thanked in the morning for emptying the diswasher  ;) shshhhhh ;) ;D ;D

as they started out

Just got mine (black Cheng Shin snakes) in a bath tub of hot soapy water now for an initial scrub. If I don't get on I'm going to do this too Neil. My sidewalls are nowhere near as good as those blues though. Very dry and cracked looking.
