Title: 1984..... the futura has landed
Post by: chubby on January 08, 2013, 04:00 PM
Scored  this from the bay & it arrived today, been stripped & painted at some point but not bad overall.
Got some ammaco/acorns with it too which Will clean up nice.
From what i can find out these we're not a high end bike when new so not gonna go bonkers with the bits...

Sweet, and alot cheaper than a CW luggage rack.

Del's got a set of the Meteor-lite decals if you want to go that way with it.

That's cool I saw it on ebay very briefly :LolLolLolLol:

CW or CW copy Freestyle Bars would look cool I think. Tioga also did a version of the CW twin tube Freestyle bars as a cheaper alternative.

I still have my original CW Luggage Rack Freestyler but I also like these and the Meteorlites :daumenhoch:

I have some thing that might suit that climbing frame  ;)

I have two sets and the white set are in use, but up for grabs are the pink set (which need painting anyway) which could work well

Nice Richard, you are a busy boy!straight on to the next one!Your missus won't be happy with you at all if you go painting frames instead of the hall!  :knuppel2:
Can't wait to see what you do with this!looks like Dordy is right, must of been made in same place as the meteor-lites.That one in the pic is the same bike but with the bent downtube. :daumenhoch:
I reckon those bars Bendy has got will look just right and very much like the bars that would have come with the frame originally if not the same :daumenhoch:
