Title: Help with Looptailed PKs
Post by: SaMAlex on July 09, 2006, 10:10 PM
I have got a couple of looptailed PKs. One of them was bought in 84 i think (I was there but it was a long time ago) from Hotshot and I dont know anything about the other one. The Hotshot one has got several cracks and they will need to be sorted out. The other one has one crack on the chainstay, just next to the wishbone, that has been repaired but the weld hasnt been ground back at all. Does anyone have any experience with rewelding PKs? Also, will the frame numbers tell me anything interesting? If they do, there they are: PK58448 and PK57596. Ta.

Send a pm to Donker on here. He's your man for frame welding  :daumenhoch:

Don't think you can date Rippers from the frame numbers though  :-\
