Nothing as lush as a new frame, but I bought a KHE Astern freecoaster hub laced to Chrome Easy O rim.

See if I can stay on my bike going backwards now i won't need to pedal :daumenhoch: Mind I have trouble staying on going the right way :LolLolLolLol: :10_2_12:

Had a chat with SBD last night about finishes. And have ordered the ginger one. Also went for ginger as they offered a bit more discount. Have asked to see if I can get a spare set of decals for when it chages colour at some point..
Looks like nobody wants a ginger frame :crazy2:

Yep, But my Sky high bars in chrome are yet to arrive, So might have to borrow some black bars from my race bike or pit bike.
Also I have to fix the after school club bike that has been in the house for 2 weeks before I'm allowed to build mine. :buck2:

I did build and ride this the other week, But I used some old cranks as my Hollwbites were with SBD after an ovenpride disaster :-[
I love it. Only bit I'm not happy with is the crank axle bolts.
Love the TT sticker

Nice bike squire :daumenhoch:

2.4 tyres on a bmx is stoopid, it looks daft on most MTB's unless they are a downhill lump

oh, and here's some bolts to make you smile   :daumenhoch:

Cheers for the link, But they will not fit mine. I have a Ti axle and it has a smaller thread. Looks like a M8 thread with a 1.0 pitch. I'll send them an email and see if they can help :daumenhoch:
Heres mine next to a Primo one

I did try painting the cap in the past but it still looked shite, Because it didn't sit flush :buck2:

That's strange, I've got a Ti axle which uses the normal Primo bolts, or in My case Ti bolts like in Digglers link  :daumenhoch:

Could it be that you have an RNC axle, I have one and it uses smaller bolts?
Title: Re: GINGER FRAME HAS LANDED, Bike now built.
Post by: fugazi on November 16, 2012, 09:04 AM
The original, solid Powerbite axle had smaller bolts like that, was the RNC based off that?
Title: Re: GINGER FRAME HAS LANDED, Bike now built.
Post by: Gary72 on November 16, 2012, 06:52 PM
I've had the Ti axle for a few years and I got it 2nd hand off ebay. I've searched around and found these.
https://www.customriders.com/prodshow.asp?prodid=7553&cat=10&parent=1001&sid=3
I'll order a set and see if they fit.
