Supposedly, we get our first look at it tonight/tomorrow. Anyone interested or thinking of a possible purchase? :D
-
Interested in seeing the finished result, would consider buying one spec and price dependant. :daumenhoch:
-
Hmmmm interesting, looking forward to seeing what it looks like but won't be contemplating making a purchase
-
I'm eager to see, its going to either be a huge success or an epic fail, I don't think there is going to be any middle ground this one. The build up has been too great
-
Agreed :daumenhoch: I think he may struggle with the true bike nuts as he is known for forward thinking. Us vintage boys will probably find the new stuff too distant and the new boys have little knowledge/respect for bob only knowing the largely bobbins bikes Haro have put out in recent times :-\
I'm sure there will be plenty of peeps hoping to make a quick buck to keep sales going though ;)
-
So what sort of price do we think it'll be ? £800 -£1200 ? Or a more budget £4-£800 ? ???
I wonder if anyone who ordered and STILL waiting for the new skyway should have waited for one of these instead ^"^
-
Good thinking batman. Skyway are dragging their arse with this new bike and if Bobs comes in on a similar price Ed over at colouredtuffs may find himself with quite a few cancellations
-
I hope he don't sell out like the rest of the old companies.......se, gt, mongoose :'(
And try and ride his reputation :-\
bring out a P.O.S stick a bob haro sticker on it and sell it for £100's :-\
-
I think if Bob has designed it, it will be cool pal. He's too switched on to put his name and design to something shoddy. Scot had nothing to do with the new SE stuff and it shows, he set the benchmark with his designs in both frames and components which was sadly lost when SE sold out.
-
Yeah by all accounts its Bobs own hand so it should be good. Interesting to see if there are any "new" innovations on the bike :)
-
Three top tubes ;D
-
Might has disc brakes :-X
-
As said......if its been designed by bob then he's extremely protective of his branding so im sure he will do a top job :daumenhoch:
-

God hope not..

Maybe he has been chatting to Eddie ;)

Dear god! Does it have vector bars?
-
That citicat isn't a million miles off the flatland bikes of today - certainly innovative for 1988 8)
-
I guess this is a good place to start for updates on the new steed :daumenhoch:

I don't think they are Vector bars Rob, they are probably the Bob Haro bars that he manufactured after leaving Vector :LolLolLolLol:

Eddie didn't even ride that, he was only payed to advertise it as he fell out with GT over money in 88, so needed to make money as he he never had a sponser, he even quoted that bike was a piece of shit :2funny:
I'm sure the bike bike bob has made can't look any worse than a gen1 :2funny:

Funny as fook.

Seen a sneek peek here in Germany with cards his been handing out, only a section of the bike but it does look innovative, certainly isn't a cash in job or wacking bobs sticker on it.

New Or Sneaky
-
I reckon that's going to look very cool. :daumenhoch:
-
Sure hope they cut a slot in that cable stop before it goes into production. :)
-
Why? Its threaded so you put a barrel cable stop in it.

Its not essential, but I find it way easier when you can remove / replace your cables without having to undo the pinch bolt and thread it back through the hole. With a slot in there you can pop it in and out with ease, but given most of these bikes will be collectors pieces I dont think it will be a big deal. :daumenhoch:
-
I don't know any new school frame that doesn't have a threaded cable stop on it ???
-
good old bob :) looks interesting for sure.see if you can get a good pic john when its unvaled :daumenhoch:
-
See a pick on the frame on his phone
The Gen 1 was very nice as well, I expect the man behind it will be along very soon to tell you all about it
-
He will. He just needs to get his head into order after the weekend. Announcement tomorrow :daumenhoch:
