Kids, this is a down hill track, a couple of pedals and your on your way to the bottom...   Easy :D

Oh, and hold or tight or you kill yourself 'cause this is a fast track >:D

Make the effort, you know it makes sense :daumenhoch:

is it wide enough for a eight man gate? as it looks quite narrow.  :-\  nice though.

It is well wide enough. The edges now need tidying up as the contractors have finished their jobs. I will be cutting the grass as well and the track will look a lot neater when all the finishing touches have been completed.

must be getting a bad prospective, in real life the track is wide enough all the way to the end, the track is almost national standard and will gain a reputation as one of the best tracks in the country.

Its in Hartlepool, just North of Middlesborough.  Thats me on the mtb, I did a timed run a few mins after that one and passed out into a pile of surface just after the finish line.  Times are expected to be about 45-50 seconds.  The gate was built to the same spec (width wise) as every other place, 8 lanes.  We have the starting ramp and mechanism going in week after next, if your about for the regional on the 2nd of July we are running and old school class.  There is loads of pics/directions etc on the club website www.northeastbmx.co.uk

There is only the 2nd july race date on the web site, would you have any other dates lined up for races? (inc old school pref)
