After a few months of thinking about it, I've finally taken the plunge and bought some NS tech to see what the fuss is about. I ain't about to be pulling 360's on the jumpbox anytime soon, but was hoping something half decent would improve my riding compared with the OS stuff I have.
After seeing something I really liked the look of for a very good price, I bought my first brand new BMX since 1984. Delivered last night, and I just had a 2 minute play in the back yard.
FOOK ME! It is amazing to ride! Was thinking it may take a while to get used to new geometry etc but I felt 10x more confident on this than any of my other bikes. Light, strong and feels right to me (Apart from the crap seating position). Can't believe I waited this long, love it!

Spot on there! Don't think I'll ever ride on Tuffs again, feels like you're on jelly. God know what Zeds are like to ride on
-
That looks Awesome! Once you've ridden a nice new school going back to tuffs are like riding on jelly. Lovely ride :daumenhoch:
-
I thought the 'catalogue' photos of this model were just very cleverly taken with great lighting, but no. Your pics prove this is one good looking bike
-
God know what Zeds are like to ride on
Imaging a 19 stone bloke trying to ride on Z's.........it felt like a clown bike :idiot2:

Beginning to think that after only 5 minutes on it. The OS bikes are about to be retired to lake rides and drunk meet ups!
Yep Diggler, tight jeans and badly fitting hat on order ;D
-
I am liking this. It looks stunning in black. The only thing I would change is the post for a longer one. I just can't get my head around the new school slammed seat look! Besides with my fat arse on it it would look like I've made it collapse! :LolLolLolLol:
I really must finish getting all the bits for my new school condor. :)
-
Welcome! :daumenhoch:
*ps* Fooking pretty, that; looking forward to riding it tomorrow night! :daumenhoch:

-
Tis looking a sweet machine >:D
brakes work better i take it then the OS stuff ;D
you do miss the knee to seat - this is when you stand up and ride, take one hand off and use yer knees to hold the bike by the seat - it's just not there anymore
swiching back and forth from NS to OS will do yer head in :D as they will feel different each time ;D
watch this then go ride
-
Oh yeah Bendy, brake is mustard! Still really want a front brake though, just doesn't feel right without one :buck2:
I know what you mean about the seat too, contemplated an OS seat so my soon to be 39 year old ass can take a rest every few minutes ;D Think it would look stupid though so I'll get used to it.
Watched the vid, looks like just another session at the Boardroom.
When us lot aren't there
:2funny:
-
That sure is a pi-ritty bike Mark :daumenhoch:
