Look a bit like CW cranks, when they get here check if the spindle is 1/2", if they are then you probably have CW cranks :daumenhoch:
-
I have CW cranks and they all came with a prefixed swagged power disc ;)
-
Boss ????
-
yeah I thought boss, but can't see the difference between these and some late 90s fabwelds ?
-
here's the 2 likely suspects
Boss:-

fabweld (woody) :-

must be fabweld I guess, coz the spindle's different on the boss one :idiot2:

Lucky! The cranks you have fraz are mega nice though

No problem mate :daumenhoch:
-
they could be boss fraz as im sure the early ones were large splined like flights
-
ah, I'll do a bit of research, cheers phil ;)

look like early boss to me, deffo not the fabweld (the pictured ones anyway)
-
Fab weld were squished at one end. Boss were finished neatly at both ends.
Boss used the larger spine for a while (not the same as redline 401 spine).
Boss made the first S&M PA cranks. They used the same, big spine spindle but pierced the join at the pedal end. S&M did this cos the Boss crannks always broke at the pedal end. All the S&M cranks broke at the BB end! :crazy2:
-
cool, looks like they're boss then, cheers for all the replys, they turned up today and definately have the PA feel to them I'll stick some pics up later :daumenhoch:
-
Sweet! How much did you get them for if you don't mind me asking? :)
-
Score Fraz :) Now bang that knackered sprocket bolt in a vice and get it out :)
-
:LolLolLolLol: yeah been trying not to think about that bolt, was thinking of hacksawing it down both sides and getting a spanner to it
-
Should work :daumenhoch: Or file/dremel and a vice :)
Bloomin' bargain though - Wish I had some online luck like that fella!
-
They are mega nice Fraz. Great score :daumenhoch:
-
