My fookin Haro frame...
Entered UK Customs 3.15pm Wednesday.... then nothing >:(
... is that normal?
-
Normally you should have had it by now but I have had to wait up to 3 weeks on one occasion, for no apparent reason.
-
I've been waiting over two weeks :knuppel2:
Parcel only took two days to come from So Cal to the UK........and its been sat in the UK for 16 days now........ :idiot2:
Just makes you proud to be British........... :Great_Britain:
:uglystupid2:
-
Very normal Ed, don't sweat it just yet. Mine sat there for 2 weeks as well. I think its the UK customs guys trying to work out their arses from their elbows. :idiot2:
-
If its entered customs and no further then they will probably send you the custom charges bill by letter.
You pay the charge online and then the item will be delivered next day or the day of your choosing.
If it came in on wednesday afternoon then the might not have processed the letter or worked out the charges that quickly so it might take a few days to reach you.
Wednesday, might have worked out charges on thursday. Sat on their arses on friday and maybe sent out a letter on monday. They are probably cheap so 2nd class post. Postie is a feckwit and decides to bunk off on wednesday shagging some tart on his round and only gets round to delivering the bill on Thursday (if ya lucky).
I wouldn't start worrying yet................give it a few days!! :-\
I've had stuff stuck in customs for a couple of weeks too!! :2gunsfiring_v1:
-
FFS I just thought you paid when they turned up >:(
better hurry up or I'll have fook all to ride on Saturday :knuppel2:
-
I just phoned up and paid. They released it next day.
-
maybe they got an anonymous tip-off that a load of charlie was being smuggled in from the states in a neon green bmx frame
fingers crossed they haven't been at it with hacksaws

yeah my thoughts exactly ... Rob now has his for sale... or I could have brought Joes... but hey ho... we live and learn. I could have paid less if I had insured it for less but didn't have the experience to trust it turning up. Over £60 of that was VAT so gonna stick in through the business and claim it back...
Anyway ITS HERE :D
must have taken a couple of knocks on the way over as they earned the shipping fees by kicking it around various warehouses... but its a rider and its MY rider so 'falling off' is gonna happen ;D
GT-Lover Rob... thanks for tracking it down and shipping :) supasupastar :4_17_5:

£80 is a bit harsh seeing that I've just paid £138 for a complete bike with a declared value of $650 ???
