Its not quite what ya spend on old school, but both my boys race club, regional and national, out of the last 23 weekends i have been away racing at 21 of them. Nationals are friday, sat, sun poss monday affairs. I have a little go in the cruiser classes(extra entry) The next 6 weeks will see us racing every weekend, camping for 4 of them. you take into account the deisel, caravan, food, tyres(1"1/8th's and a 6 and 7 year old who when told not to skid do. 1 skid=1 bald tyre)............... Hang about, this is getting to scary, even without the old school stuff i buy!. All i can say is its great fun, i spend way to much money on Bmx whether old or new school, but ilove it and more importantly my boys do too! live it, breath it, ride it. Dev
-
on the old school side of it I bought restored & collected the ones I wanted then sold them all lol & managed to make a bit.
on the new school side of things my new bike doesnt owe me anything due to buying and selling
BUT the racing side of things cost me THOUSANDS and was worth EVERY penny
:) DINGO :)
-
I started last November and would say £1500 in the first 6 months, not brought much in the past few months though.
If she asks £300!
-
I reckon about 7G's. Have sold lots though, but still have about £3K invested in new school bikes.
-
I want to know how much Sanmarcopizza has spent???????
In the last week???????
-
I'm guessing about 5k give or take a bit.
-
I want to know how much Sanmarcopizza has spent?
In the last week?
Why, what have I been buying now, that I am not aware of ?
-
well under a grand.
and you can tell ;D
-
Somewhere between 3 and 4 grand, plus about 60p on an A'ME sticker from Jim Melton. Doesn't it just make your day when you open an envelope and there's a little note from him inside?
-

yeah, ive deffo spent more on the sundrie's, ie herbs n booze after hot night track sesh's over the past cuple of years than i have on bikes. ;)
-
a lot less than i spent on pills, charly and jd. and i have something to show for it, and met some new friends.
-
thanks to company vehicles much less as the cost of travelling all over the country not a direct cost, and getting in at the right time helped, but it was a blast collecting and building...costs circa £2-3k with some wheeler dealing too... ;)
-
hey retro
