Title: Pro Class rims
Post by: wildon on February 07, 2011, 11:00 PM: Did they ever come chrome plated? Anyone ever had them chromed? :)

The pro-class II were originally available in chrome and came fitted with chrome hubs, chrome spokes and black alloy nipples :daumenhoch:

I haven't heard of many success stories at all with re-chroming alloy rims - it didn't exactly work greatly back in the day but these new "eco friendly" chroming processes of today which people are having trouble with don't seem to suit alloy at all :-\

There's nowt wrong with Chrome Araya 7X , JP ???

Mine are OG chrome and minto :daumenhoch:

Were the Chrome Pro class rims the steel ones ?

or the steel ones chrome too

"Pro-steel" were chrome but the early pro class II alloy were chrome also :daumenhoch:
