Robinswood hill in Gloucester would make sense as it is very steep there, looks like fun!

Not Eckington, that was a downhill first straight as well. Ecko was built around the same time as Redditch - could have been the real first track along with a couple of the Humberside ones. BMX strated in two places at once in the UK, but only one half the story gets told.

I'm thinking Gloucester too on this one. Never went there tho.

That is 100% Yeovil race track, I know as I was invited along for their very 1st race meeting.  It was fooking mental a flat start hill and we were forced to revert to 1 footed starts it was so flat and then it just dropped.

Here is a picture of the race meeting, look how steep the hill is leading into the berm, this is Graham Hoare leading.

A picture of the trophy presentation, from left to right is Me on JMC, Graham Hoare and Colin Chilvers, we were the top 3 in the region at the time were asked to attend the opening of the track..

That looks well fast, the 4 X track at PORC is a bit like that, carved into a hillside, and that`s bloody fast, it`s where I broke my collar bone and a load of ribs last year  :(
