Title: Shimano DX hubs - Mid School?
Post by: 20to26 on November 13, 2010, 05:36 PM
I need to build some race oriented mid school wheels - I have a set of 48 hole wheels that came on a '92 MS bike but they just don't seem right for a race bike so I want to build a set.

So will Shimano DX hubs like these be mid-school: clicky (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Shimano-Hubs-DX-Free-Hub-Set-36-Spoke-NOS-BMX-Hubs-/150503519242?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item230ab5740a#ht_613wt_1141)

thanks.

I think they are too early, Shimano did do hubs in the mid nineties in their DX range, black hubs with red lettering.

oh yeah I recall those, weren't there red vee barkes & levers too?

What are the other options then besides Bullseye for race bikes?

Thats the ones, got a set of the brakes on one of my PK.  ;)
