very early 90 s its the early bully race bike , before piston or hot rod
mmmmm likeing that .... well worth £50
-
Cheers for the info there sonic. I have hunted up and down for a catalogue of these models and there isnt one bully prowler on bmx museum
-
when i got my bully hotrod i looked about for info not much about , found a little on some usa forum n there was mention of the prowler
dont have the puter i saved it on anymore :'(
they are welded nice though
-
I will try and hunt down for that forum if i can. Hopefully when i put this up on bmx museum someone can offer more informations. There is a sticker on the bike saying something like this is not for offroad or stunt use  so it makes me think are these bikes easy to snap as i have read some bully frames do snap easily, might be the bashguard ones

Absolute steel for 50 Notes Brother
Even looks like it has e Revcore seatpost.
-
wouldn't of thought it would have a V brake in the early 90's?? would've thought it would be canti instead??

there is another one on the museum

the bully bashguards did indeed snap quite easily, funnily enough around the bashguard area!!!
-
that one doesn't have V brake mounts on the rear though ???
-
according to the stickers its still a prowler looks like a earlier version as it has no v brake mounts and different sticker design to modfathers one

I snapped the headtube off my one. They were really really horrid bikes. Badly made with nasty geometry. I learnt loads about frame design from riding that.
-
lol both mine snapped around the bashguard area, indeed they were horrible to ride and had a very short toptube iirc
-
I scanned this a while ago for someone.

ive got a non bashguard piston. had it from new, proper weird geometry, the seat tubes really leaned back. still love it tho :smitten:
