got these from fleabay, won then ages ago and have finally turned up
looked geniune in the photos but the knurling doesnt look like any other S&M bars Ive got, never seen the sheild sticker in a square of clear vinyl either, they've always been die cut into a sheild
anyone know if they're genuine or not?

Some early Shield stickers were on clear backing. The Mad Dog headtube stickers were on a square of vinyl backing.
The knurling does look strange tho

do you know what early slams actually look like? Ive got 2 sets of early slams pretty much identical, its only the knurling thats different

if its any help i've has a couple of frames where the seat tube sticker was in a clear square like that

Early S&M decals were defo on clear vinyl and every run of slam bars I ever saw were a different shape and from different suppliers.

There was one run I saw where Moeller asked for the cross bar to be a bit lower. The supplier lowered the cross bar but didnt make it shorter. Instead they forced out the bend of the bars (to fit in the crossbar) which made them wider! :idiot2:
