Got a seatpost clamp on an MRD bike I just bought its Tuf Neck shaped with an 6mm bolt same as a DC clamp not like a Tuf Neck 8mm and has Xcaliber decals on it . Any ideas ?

I just made the assumption to odyssey due to their cranks being called excalibur although the cranks have a e :-[

not really. it's an obscure and pretty much unseen brand on the scene. only ever seen a few bits in many years. mattdubbbbbbbbb had one on his champion build in 2008. first time i seen any xcaliber in the flesh.

There were a few for sale on US ebay about 5 or so years ago - NOS in the bag. I'd bet that's where mattdub picked his up. In fact I bet he bought them all and is hoarding them :LolLolLolLol:

I've got a NOS set of Black Xcaliber Pedals and a chrome seatclamp had them about 5-6 years.

I had a black Xcalibur seatclamp on my GT Nora I built in 1983 ,, like you said Steve Tuf neck shaped , decent clamp at the time I thought
Used to see the ads in American mags :)
