Title: "Of gorse I know where that old track is"...
Post by: se on August 15, 2005, 01:28 PM
Don't get me wrong: I don't normally read the Telegraph but this story caught my eye: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2005/08/10/nbmx10.xml

Who is this guy? He should be awarded some sort of medal of honour for his efforts - helicopter rescue after remote old track hunting expedtion went wrong, how hardcore is that?!

"Mr Bowen, unemployed, said he decided to go for a ride after losing £100 on gaming machines at the nearby Primrose Valley caravan site"

Sounds like he's a real winner!!

I'd like to know how an unemployed guy can afford to go gambling in the first place!!

Also noticed he used a lighter to get attention so I guess he smokes too.....that's a fiver a pack all paid for by us taxpayers folks. >:(
