It's either one of your old bikes or you're bidding on it Daz. :D Humps

Its an Expert from the measures I just got off him if anybody is interested :daumenhoch: I really want a Pro if I get 1 ::)

Shill bidding?
-
i thought it sold? e-bay is full of crooks.

It did but the old 'non paying bidder' excuse will be used. :-\
-
Interesting ::)
-

Go on then, let's have some sizes please. I blew out the option to buy this on a second-chance offer as I started having second thoughts about it and was travelling up country when the bidding ended anyway. Humps
-
Bet this gets pulled or relisted due 2 shill bidding again :tickedoff: i'm not bidding cos it got relisted last time ::)
-
It appears to have sold for £182 this time. I'd not heard of "shill bidding" but have learned something by Googleing the term and can now see what it's all about and certainly explains the Second Chance offer I received. Will it now be relisted again I wonder. Humps
-
maybe the buyer didnt pay up when he realised it wasnt a hutch?
well worth £182 for whoever got it though :daumenhoch:
-
Thats the classic though... list your item with some discrepancies... like calling this a Hutch... 'Shill' it up then say the winning bidder realised it wasn't what he/she thought they were bidding on....then second chance offer a 'real' bidder or relist due to 'time wasters' :buck2:
When it comes to E-Bay my philosophy is always "If you ask a fish to get you a newspaper, expect it to come back wet"
Thats why I always use E-Snipe ( www.esnipe.com ) - bid what I'm prepare to pay and don't get mad if you lose. :smitten:
Right I'm off to make an offer on that £6k JMC with the repairs "that actually work to your advantage" :daumenhoch:
