Peregrine 48 spoked wheels
« on: March 19, 2006, 09:39 PM »
While I love tuff wheels, I now fancy a pair of 48 spoked wheels that featured on many bikes from the late 80's onwards.

I see a lot of riders prefered spoked wheels as opposed to tuffs, especially in the post '85 era. Anyway, I would like to know if the Peregrine's are any good for flatland and if there are better spoked wheels from the same era, or are they pretty much all the same. I would put them on my '85 master.

I see there's was a pair of Peregrine's on eBay recently for £150 for NOS, do you reckon that's too high a price?

Cheers
