How small can you go with micro gearing using chainstay brakes without the chain  rubbing - using primo e brake

all depends on the height of the brake lugs,

25/9 is possible if the lugs are low enough,

what joe said,i run a 28t 10 on a chain stay set up,some lugs sit high or your brake might not sit low enough
some rears are machined to sit lower than others.

I run 25/9 with chainstay lugs but I use a demolition vulcan brake not sure if it's thinner than yours mate.
