i'v use it befor with no problems at all , but its not doing what it says on the tin ! :tickedoff: anyone any ideas i'm ready apply it with a lump hammer ............... >:(

i've had the same problems with the stuff, i think they thin it down at the factory hoping no one notices...

shake the tin thoroughly then apply and cover with cling film or a plastic bag to keep the air out and it will work.

it is a new tin ! the last stuff worked fine . i'm stripping a frame that was chrome befor someone sprayed it, it gets through some parts of the top coat and its hardly touching the under coat . i'v scrached though it and it defo chrome underneath it so how could it key in so well  ??? ill give it a go covering it see how that goes tomorrow

layer it up gradually, work the mors into the paint in 5/10 minute stages, 3 or four passes should be enough,
and blob it on with the end of the brush, not in brush strokes,
try using an aluminium scourer pad too if you want to preserve the finish of the chrome beneath,

dont expect the paint to just bubble up and fall off, some paints/powders are tough as fook, some bubble up others come of like gel,

dremel wire a brass wire brush helps too,

if the frame has an etching coat over the chrome then it will be a bugger to remove,

i always work on one part of the frame at a time and i dont use nitro mores ;D

its getting powdered when its done . i'v bin thinking about a blow torch ?? or a heat gun , does that work ?

why isnt your painter stripping your frame prior to painting :daumenhoch:

get the runnier stuff in a yellow tin. stronger and gets you pissed on the fumes quicker  :D

its worked wonders on my paint work in the house. some of it must have been 40-50 years old
the green stuff from homebase is shite!

also, dont sit on it, give you a strab=nge sensation on youre plums once its soaked through youre jeans  :-[
