worked it out it was 84/85 we even raced a regional there, the thing i remeber most is some kid jumoing up and down on his skinny wheeled redline that cost the earth because it would not go fast enough, my little brother pissed all over him on our mongoose californian, we both stood there and thought perhaps he should have pedalled quicker lmao

how about these ?
outlaws track in summer 1984 (i think)
my dad dug these out his loft a few weeks ago and brought them over.
I raced on my procraft team karate that day along with my cousin.
I was never any good in 11yrs but he used to do well in the 7 yrs category.
He was riding with the Super Cycles (SC) racing team who had some sponsorship from Puch.
Him and 3 other guys in the team did alot of regional races, birmingham etc.

Im in the yellow helmet and skin tight jeans  :LolLolLolLol:

I think back then you could probably count the number of jumps in the track on 1 hand

When I went there this summer think the number had gone up to somewhere over 30

other than that and everyone wearing skin tight jeans not changed too much ;-)

Yeah I used to ride there with my mate Si Carter he was in The OUTLAWS.
We used to see Geth Shooter ridin there with his mate Deaf John. Both doing the maddest jumps over the biggest table top.

I have stacks of pics even from when it was bunnys track, some have the Dronfield Demons bus parked near the last berm (when the berm was just after the tabletop) all I need is a scanner  :(

Had my first ever race there January 82 i think.  On my Raleigh burner with std (read: no good for racing) gearing. same agegroup as GT/Bunneys  Ian Dixon who was already national 2 or 3 or thereabouts

then raced there only afew times as derby started and joined West Midlands region

In 85 Derby joined East Midlands so raced there again in regionals,

13-15 cruisers, Both shots you can just see Shenpar/Powerlites Dale Holmes back wheel  >:(  :yahoo_silent: I must of beaten him at some point that year but i have to admit i dont remeber doing  :LolLolLolLol:  EM was a strong region in 13-15 cruisers that year, Simon Carter, Rob Males etc.
one of Bunneys original members Keith Bicknell 118 and Illson Gunner Simon Thompson 646?

Finally 88 on my Robinson Pro, i packed up for a year i think but jeez that AGV Shooter lid must of been pretty unpleasant by then!!! :D

Bizarrely i finished 5th EM on the cruiser in 85, 12 national , 5th 17+ in 88 and 5th WM in 83.  Think 5th was the only regional ranking i ever had

Love the old shots of the Outlaws track, used to race for them in the mid 80's
Remeber the abuse from Carter and Bicknall in the Gee-Tee signs team van.  :-[
