I need a set of 890's for my Kuwie resto but have been offered a set of 1020's. They look the same to me, so whats the difference?? ta

The caliper arms are over a centimetre longer than 890s. The pads may struggle to meet the rims so probably too long for your bike, bud.

Are you sure they won't fit ? Depending on the frame in question - rear wheel position within the dropout slot can be placed in a location that will suit the reach of the caliper

Chuck a wheel in yer dropouts and get yer tape measure out :

The bike came with 890s as standard. You might get away with 1020s at a push, but they would still be the wrong brakes for the bike if you wanted it factory correct.
