help on some new pedals.

right boys, want some new pedals for the trusty Haro race bike. im using DMR V8's but i get the feeling they only cover a small amount of foot, kinda limits my confidence to go a try further and bigger things. before them i had Odyssey JC's but had to sell them as the bearings were muffed and they were rusted too. basiclly i just want a nice big pedal that is thin but can cover alotta foot let me know was thinking on Wellgo plastics with the metal pins?

Shadow Conspiracy Nostra are big ol' pedals, not sure how lightweight they are for a racebike though.

have a look at tioga surefoot mx pros, they are big,lightweight and are fairly low profile

Primo pedals (plastic or alloy) or alloy GT pedals.I've never used anything else.Big square platforms with plenty of grip.

for me was always sharkbites but i guess there a bit dangerous lol i found v8's to be good pedals, but tend to use the outlands these days lots of grip, and the last one ive had for 5 years and still work great just look rough, but must admit for mtb'ing i use spuds ,yes i know swear word but my feet are secure and have used them on mtb's for around 16 or more  years now, plus clipless on road bikes, so use to being clipped in since about 91ish, but not on a bmx for me,.

never tried widows james, i guess pedals are as personal as saddles lol , when i buy a new mtb i change the pedals ,the saddle ,the grips,and usualy the stem, wellgo's are good and priced well, ive got a set of the clippless ones on mt mtb and have had them for about 3 years, better make than some think,

Been using Wellgo MG1s for the last few years, really good and cheap on Ebay.

However, tried Burgtec Penthouse Flats at the weekend and they are awesome.  New Mk3 version coming out soon which are lighter and thinner but same size/shape.  Not cheap though, about £160 I think.
