The price of restoration...
« on: November 20, 2009, 09:43 PM »
I'm new to restoration in the year 2009... the last one I did was early 90s.

I got a complete 25 year old bike with decent parts on so I was thinking that costs would be minimum as I could restore most of the stuff... I just needed to buy a couple of bits...

chain
BB
Headset
grips
seat post
I need some bar ends really
freewheels a bit fooked

respray is a must
decals obviously

need some new bars - having bars you like are important
I want a spinner on it

gotta get some new caps for my DXs
...and a few other bits  ;)

... I'll just have a little add up tonight.....

:wtf: JEEESUS I HAVE SPENT SO MUCH...

how the fuk do you guys do it on the regular - it must be for the  :smitten:

I still feel a little ill about how much I've spent... mainly because of the row that will follow if 'certain people' in my house find out...

but at the same time sooooo fookin excited as SBD has finished my F&F and I will be putting the fooker together next week  :D

Damm you yin & yang... you always have to balance.
