Honestly ... I do try to stay on the bike.   :'(

Maybe in the summer season I will improve as this was my first season since 1987.....

The injuries from falling this year are to much to mention. On a positive note the Powerlite I got off Russ is a keeper and that means I will not be chopping and changing from a Robinson to a GT PRO and now the Powerlite. Lets hope eh.......

;D

I now have a huge bruise on my inner calf after my 2 T-boning attempts against Russ and James.

I think I need expert tuition off R Al..................although dubber looks a bit of lightweight these days.

Stop eating the salads Dubs and eat some meat pies and bulk up a bit!!   :daumenhoch:

Had a bloody brilliant day on Sunday, so thanks all for making me feel welcome and for the encouragement throughout the day.  I've been involved in a fair few sports over the years, and I can't think of another where it's been as obvious that everyone is there for having fun and a craic.

Special thanks to James and Moley for sorting me out with all the kit to get me racing.

Being used to bigger wheels and a bit of travel upfront, I spent the practices and first couple of motos concentrating on staying on the bike and getting round in one piece.  Either BMX tracks have got harder since the last time I rode on one, or I've turned into a fanny in the last 20 years.  Either way, I was pretty taken aback by how hard I found it.

My confidence was growing as the day wore on, and I'm mad keen to get some practice in, so I'm a bit more competitive next time.  Couldn't sleep on Sunday night as my brain was going "BMX...BMX...BMX...BMX"   :)

Can't make it to Coppull, but I'll definitely be joining you all again as soon as I can.

Thanks again,

Steve

Glad you enjoyed it steve, thats just how I felt back in april when I started back..... :daumenhoch:
As for being a fanny???? well unfortunately you probably are   its thinking that if I try and jump this or manual that I may hurt myself, then whos gonna pay the mortgage? its reality and most of us feel the same, except davey who tries to jump most things, unsuccessfully I might add  :LolLolLolLol:
welcome to the mayhem

Daz

I wonder how long I can use this dodgy elbow excuse before I have to join you loons on the start gate again????

Your not a fanny Steve.  Tracks have got gnarlier in the last 20 years!!

And I think Davey's freewheel quit on him so that Davey wouldn't hurt himself.   Davey never takes the hint!!    :daumenhoch:
