crank and spider together ........... looks real nice down to delboy  :LolLolLolLol:

seat from ebay clean to perrrrrrrrrrrfection looks brand new now

high build primer for the 3rd time on the frame ..... after it was shot blasted found some heavy pitting so i have flattened and prime the frame for the 3rd time now sick of dirty water and 1500 wet or dry    smooth as a baby,s bum now

and primed again and again  :LolLolLolLol:

and yet again del helps me out with a hand from cheekythirtsy . the decals that are sold on ebay and another site  hhmmm are to big for the frame

Neil ,

I gotta ask , after seeing your post above on page 5 .

You talk about the heavy pitting ( with primer , filling pics etc ) . I've not in a long time seen the kind of pits you show on a properly stripped frame ? , was it the shot blasting that contributed perhaps to this or was this pitting in the chrome ( meaning frame was'nt dipped to remove chrome prior to any prep/paint ) ? .

I'm just shocked by what seem like craters in close up , if this was bare metalled  :-\ .

I've had 2 of these , nowhere near as bad .

they looked real bad but by touch i bet they were only 30-50 microns deep but the high build primer highlighted the pitting , yes i blasted it and i think maybe the nickol plating hid some of the pitting
