used my rider in the summer and used genuine skyway tuff pads and to be honest they felt sh1te !! i know it's not a new school brake and all that but there has to be a better brake pad :-\
so anything better and tried and tested on tuff wheels???

I know I am heavier than I used to be but I can't get the Tuff Pads I have working on my bike as well as they ought to.
I wonder if the material thay are made from goes off a bit over the years ?

i use demolition pads and they work great on tuffs :daumenhoch:

I run those long tuff pads on 2 of my bikes and find they stop well. ;)

old vans brake shoes from alans bmx. they work the dogs dangly bits and come in good colours for mags. i use white ones on my white tuffs and they have stayed mint after 2 years of riding alot

You mention the Vans pads working well - they're made by Kool Stop who also make Skyway's pads, the original Tuff pad is a re-branded Kool Stop Continental. I would have thought they're made of the same compound? But the Vans pad does look like it has a bigger and better surface....

the DC red or white pads work well on tuffs too, the best tuff pads are the freestyle ones with an "s" (soft?) on them, they work well on alloys too
