Well, it's had a colour change and a brand new set of wheels and boots, so it's looking like a mongoose start to this month's BoTM alright
All my bikes are like you'd have had BITD so it's got roughly period parts that you'd have upgraded to if you afford to
1978 Team Mongoose and Team Mongoose forks c/w MK09 mud still
1981 NOS (get a load of these lush puppies!) UKAI 7C rims and ACS hubs shod with NOS Compe3's (not anymore!)
Some posh crank I found lying about with NOS MKS pedals and NOS Sugino ringpiece
Some old MX1000's and Tech 3's
Really old Mongoose bars (Jonnygoose will tell us how old no doubt!) with an equally old Suntour stem that's faded to fook
Nice Viscount Aero on a Redline post

freshly built 1984 skyway t/a.
it took me long enough on part selection & color scheme. always wanted to build a white/blue skyway t/a, but I can't stand too much blue so tried to cut down the blue parts to chrome/silver. here's the part list:
frame: 1984 skyway t/a
forks: not sure is 1986 or 25 anni bought as is without sticker
wheelset: shimano high flange hubs, stainless steel spokes, anno blue nipples, powdered araya aero rims, kuwahara irc racer 80x tires, shimano mx30 freewheel
brakeset: d/c tech 2 levers, 890 calipers
headset: tange 303 with tange headlock
stem: nitto mx2
handlebar: win v bar
grips: tange
seatpost clamp: tange
seatpost: shimano dx
seat: kashimax
crank: sugino 400
spider: sugino
pedal: kkt amx
chain: izumi
all nos except frame, forks, rims, cranks & frame pad. enjoy!

VINCENT PRO
I BUILT THIS USING AS MANY BRITISH PARTS AS POSSIBLE,I COULDN'T BELEIVE HOW DIFFICULT IT WAS TO FIND BRITISH MADE PARTS
I RE -SPRAYED FRAME AND FORKS WITH A CUSTOM MIX ORANGE TO MATCH THE ORANGE VINCENT USED ON THERE FREESTYLERS
MOST PARTS I HAVE USED HAVE BEEN RESTORED
BIG THANKS TO STIDDS FOR WHEEL BUILD AND STEVE FOR PADS

The quality of builds is just superb/stunning
Oh well here's my effort, I'll stick it in anyway. Always yearned for a T/A, the bike I most wanted bitd. Struggled a bit deciding parts and obviously not era correct, so built to suit.
Different seat post in this pic as couldn't decide which to choose, the renthal or GT layback
Parts rundown:
USA 7/84 straight bridge, skyways logos still visible on dropouts/forks
SR Stem, EZ MKII Bars, Sugino Cro mo crank, Sakae spyder, Sugino chainring 44t, MX 1000s, MX seatclamp (copy), SX Pedals, Sharp BB, Skyway Designs Padset, generic chain, GT Seat post (& option of red Renthal layback), 'Free Style' branded seat, Skyway logo dicecaps, Cheng shin tyres!!, Tuffs, ODI lever covers, Ame Grips
