They are tempting and do look nice but aren't they ALL diamond back stamped kashi ones to begin with ?

They all have the diamond shaped hole pattern where the bog standard kashi's didn't ? $:-\$

they are all db seats he had shit loads of yellow ,,,i bought one off him about six months ago ,,,took about a month to get here though

Is it stamped kashimax on the underside ? It will have a date code on there

I have 2 kashimax MX with no holes down the side one is stamped 1980 the other 1981

I have 1 kashimax MX with the holes down the side and it is stamped 1982

Both have the same hole pattern for the main seat part as per the third piccy above (the blue seat)

Genuine question, and please excuse my ignorance but what's the deal with Kashimax seats? Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate paying megabucks for the the correct original part to finish off a perfect rebuild/resto but these don't seem to be in short supply and with the current fixie trend even repros are going for £50ish . . . just been flicking through a '94 issue of Ride mag and a seat identical to the one in bobafetts 3rd pic is featured in the 'new stuff' section for £6.50. What current £6.50 product can I buy shedloads of and sell on in 2025?

I just pm'd Simon, I'd bought 2 on the same day, 5 weeks ago and fook all for either of us. Were going to be sent this week apparently. You can't fault that level of efficiency.

i like the bullshit answers. 90% dye penetration. what a crock of shite. you scuff a black dyed seat and you get yellow to brown scratches. Where did he get all the diamondback seats from in the first place, did sandy's shed get robbed
