chain tensioners (where are they)
« on: November 01, 2009, 05:19 PM »
Brought a pair of chain tensioners about 3/4 weeks ago off someone on here, he had about 10 for sale, never received them. I contacted him through his e-mail as thats the only conatct i can find through my paypal i said i know we have had postal strikes so maybe thats why i have not received em & he agreed this was the reason but i have e-mailed him again after another 2 weeks & had no reply, now they were only £2.50 but if he sold 10 of em thats £25 of our peeps hard earned wonga. Just thought i say something to see if the others got them. At the end of the day it don't matter how much it is it's still a scam & lets stop it now    deep breath, deep breath, deep breath  ;) ;D

i think your referring to Motomag II.I've never met him or had any dealings with him but from what i've seen over the past few years of the way he conducts himself on here,i don't think for one second he'd be behind any wrong doings.I'd say with 100% confidence it's down to Royal Snail.  :daumenhoch:

I got two sets from the same sale thread.

The Postman left me a card asking me to collect them from the Post Office because the stamp was 17p underpaid (probably as it should have been sent as as a large letter rather than small letter).  I then had to pay an extra £1 charge on top of that.

Perhaps this has happened to you and the Postman forgot to leave you a card.  Check with your local delivery office - they may well be there. :daumenhoch:

I got a set, the letter had a label on it too saying 17p under paid, luckily the Postie couldn't be arsed and just delivered it, fairplay to the Postie :daumenhoch:

Best advise as above check with local PO ;)
